Injuries #2

Welcome to Leo's Blog! Since I've been writing about the recent games for the past couple weeks, I think I should focus on some injuries for this week. First up is Sergio "Kun" Agüero. Agüero was injured playing against Crystal Palace where Dunn took on a nasty challenge which caused Agüero's knee injury. He is said to not be back in play for the next month, but is recovering excellently. Another Manchester City injury, midfielder David Silva was taken with an ankle injury and wasn't there in the game of Aguero's injury. He wants to make a return for the Manchester Derby but his ankle prohibits him from training. De Bruyne or Touré are expected to take over his role. An injury in Liverpool might really set the back in their EPL table, as striker Daniel Sturridge was not deemed fit enough to play against Tottenham and was taken off because of an injured knee. He is not expected to be playing next week, but his injury is not too severe. But this final injury is a pretty severe. Congo striker Rudy Ndey isn't a very well-known player, by he might gain some fane after what happened to him. In a match in the African Confederation Cup, Ndey fell over the opposing goalkeeper, landing on his head and twisting his neck. The referee called off the game and instantly sent Ndey to the hospital, where his doctor claimed that he had done serious damage to his fifth and sixth vertebrae, and nearly died. The surgery was successful, but he obviously won't be playing very soon, and might not even fully recover.
