Recent Games

Welcome to another edition of soccer news on Leo's Blog! This week we'll be talking about recent games that have kicked off the 2015/2016 season. First off is a very debated game in the media, FC Barcelona vs Sevilla FC. Barcelona has won well over sixty championships in its existence, but this 2-1 loss could cost them this season. Luis Suarez is taking most of the blame for not playing well. Next is the Barclays PL game of Arsenal vs Manchester United, where the underdogs of Arsenal won by an astonishing 3-0, all goals scored in twenty minutes. The Gunners are looking a real chance at the title this season. Another BPL game Liverpool drew a game to Everton 1-1, where a goal was scored before halftime by Ings, but Lukaku of Everton leveled everything up just four minutes later. Neither team is expected to win the division this season, but they do still have a chance. Finally, a game against the two best teams in the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. The game was won by Bayern, though, with a mind-boggling 5-1. Two players almost recieved a hat-trick (three goals in a single match) that game thanks to a penalty taken by Thomas Müller, and judging by that scoreline, there's no doubt that Bayern has the best team in Germany. Thanks for tuning in, see you next time!
