Ligue 1 + Bayern Munich (Week 13)

After a few weeks of discussion on the BPL, I think it's time to change leagues for a week or so. So, this blog will give a bit of recognition to a league that doesn't get all the recognition it should: Ligue 1. First game up is the menacing PSG's 5-0 win against Toulouse. As we soccer fans would've expected, the god-like Ibrahimovich scored twice that game, but the thing that stood out to me was di Maria's goal. He just moved to PSG for this season, and I guess I'm just used to seeing his name on the Manchester United roster. Everything's going swell for PSG; they're in first place in Ligue 1 with an astounding 35 points. My bet's on them. Next up is pretty much the only other well known team in the league, it's Lyon Olympique. They hold their standing in second place as they versed Saint-Etienne with a 3-0 win, all because of Alexandre Lacazette and the hat-trick he got that game. For this week's last game, I'm going to move out of the Ligue 1, and to the German Bundesliga, where Bayern Munich beat Stuttgart 4-0, which only affirmed their spot at the top of their league table. This game also affirmed Lewandowski's fouteenth goal this season (other scorers this game being Robben, Müller, and the recently transferred legend Douglas Costa). If this blog seemed short, wait until next week, where El Classico will take place, and Barça will battle Real Madrid to be the top team of the Premíera Liga de España.
